Vaccinated pregnant women less likely to be hospitalized with covid.
CIDRAP - Pregnant women vaccinated against COVID-19 less likely to be hospitalized or deliver prematurely, new data show Liz Szabo, MA December 15, 2025 Canadian researchers who examined the medical records of nearly 20,000 women who developed COVID-19 while pregnant, found that vaccinated women were 62% less likely to be hospitalized than unvaccinated women and 90% less likely to need critical care, according to the study, published in JAMA.
My letter to reps:
There’s overwhelming evidence vaccination for covid while pregnant is very protective and that it’s dangerous to get covid while pregnant, most especially for the unvaccinated. It’s unacceptable that the government isn’t highly recommending this, and promoting it, since the evidence is clear, and medical professionals know it.

CIDRAP - COVID infection may impair male fertility, but vaccination shows no effect, review suggests Laine Bergeson February 12, 2026 Among men, the data suggests, COVID infection is associated with reductions in semen quality, including lower semen volume and concentration, and total sperm count, viability, and motility. COVID infection was also associated with elevated levels of the hormones estradiol and prolactin in men, though it did not appear to significantly affect testosterone levels. These negative fertility outcomes in men persisted after infection. “Notably, even after recovery (over 90 days), sperm concentration and motility remained lower compared to uninfected individuals,” they write.
Remind friends and family to get up to date on covid & flu vaccinations.
Because we all know that the authorities are remiss, to say the least.
CIDRAP Large share of older US adults haven’t had a recent flu or COVID vaccine, poll finds - Laine Bergeson February 3, 2026 Despite a severe influenza season and rising COVID-19 activity this winter, 42% of adults ages 50 and older remain unvaccinated, according to a new University of Michigan National Poll on Healthy Aging. The survey also highlights gaps in understanding the vaccines’ ability to reduce the risk of severe illness. The poll, conducted from December 29, 2025, to January 13, 2026, asked 2,964 US adults ages 50 to 98 about their vaccination status and reasons for not getting vaccinated. Overall, 42% reported that they had not received either a flu or COVID vaccine in the past six months. For 49% of people over 50, it had been more than a year since their last COVID vaccine, and 15% said they had never been vaccinated against COVID.
People often believe stuff when skilled propagandists push attractive narratives.
Infectious diseases circulated and killed huge numbers of humans long before there were any labs to blame on the origins. Smallpox circulated for thousands of years, and there were no labs to blame for cooking it up. The lab leak theory for covid persists because it’s interesting as a story and gives people someone to blame. Storytelling with villains is powerful. Also, lab leak story pushers are actually pandemic deniers, which is pretty disturbing.
