He acknowledged the racism that infected the Jeffersonian myth. Truscott's current wife, artist Tracy Harris, lost her first husband, Dan Flavin, to diabetes when he was only 63. I shouldn't be surprised anymore when someone who used to have some common sense (and was a REPORTER) decides to give in to the fantasy. But there we are.
